"Figment"
Figment is from the Ruari x Abigail Flames litter. She has OFA Excellent hips, Normal elbows, shoulders, patella, heart. Her spine tested as having a transitional vertebrae, which you can read more about here. She has been DNA tested through Optimal Selection and is a carrier of IGS and clear for all else.
Figment is 32lbs and approximately 19" tall.
Figment is co-owned with my closest friend Kayli, and she lives nearby here in Nevada which means I get to see her all the time. She’s a total goofball, a high drive, high heart, high speed kind of girl who keeps us laughing and constantly impressed. If I had to sum her up in a phrase, it might be: bless her little heart, she’s always giving it 110%. Figment is fast, bouncy, enthusiastic, and wildly fun to train. She is a doer before a thinker, never shy about trying something new, and she gives everything her all. She reminds us often of her older half-sister Vintage. She has that same "let’s go!" attitude and eager willingness to jump into whatever the day holds. She’s training/competing in rally, agility, herding, disc, flyball, fastCAT, and dock diving. No matter the sport, Figment shows up keen, focused, and full of joy.
She is environmentally stable, socially sound, and emotionally resilient. Her natural confidence has made her a very adaptable dog who thrives in a variety of settings. With other dogs, she’s playful, fair, and socially savvy. With people, she’s a little more neutral: friendly but not over the top, much like her dam, Abigail. She’s easy to live with, comfortable in new environments, and has that lovely trait of being highly driven without being chaotic.
Her OFA health testing is all complete and passing, and I'm excited to include her in my future breeding plans. She is the planned mother of my upcoming BorderPap litter and she may be a future "girlfriend" for my boy Jon. She brings something really special to the table, a blend of stability, drive, joy, and versatility wrapped in the world’s funniest little package. We absolutely adore this girl and can’t wait to see all the places she’ll go.
